I update to the latest version of AS yesterday. This morning I opened a lesson I had previously created and any instances where I have used 'hover to show layer' is now strobing.
I have set a screenshot on many slides to reveal a layer on hover, and hide the layer on hover out. They're all strobing now unless I uncheck the box 'Hide layer when user hovers out' but then the hover layer is stuck on screen. In order to fix this I would have to create a close button on each screen that would create a huge amount of additional work. I will close everything down and reinstall to see if that makes a difference.
*Update, I uninstalled and reinstalled and the issue persists
There may be some sort of background automatically added to the layer, or something else on the layer that comes between the mouse and the hover target.
When the user hovers on a small image, a full page layer revels the image enlarged so it's legible. When the user's mouse leaves the small image area on the base layer, the full page overlaid layer is hidden. It's something that has only happened on hover to reveal layers, when the command is to hide when user hovers out. All lessons worked fine before the update, not all not working - so logic dictates it's something to so with the latest AS 360 update?
Thank you for reaching out and working directly with our support team as well. I can see that Darwin confirmed that this is an issue occurring in the latest update, and I've linked this conversation to our report so that we can share updates here as well.

Have you tried reverting to the previous version to see if it persists?
