Drop-down UI label "-- Select --" issue

Oct 27, 2015

Hi people,

Probably there is no workaround for this and this discussion  is more to point on issue to be fixed in future updates.

In short when you publish a course with html 5 comparability i notice that for questions with drop-down menu as answers, initial text in the fields is the first answer entry instead of a "-- Select --" UI text that should be. And this is only if you use html5 compatible browser.

I am not sure if i explain it right, attached are 2 screenshots which are showing the same slide/question opened with a different browsers:

regular - used browser IE9, executed file is story.html

html5 - used browser Mozilla (latest version), executed file is again story.html (which redirect you to story_html5.html because browser is html5 compatible?)

More over, in the story.swf  everything is alright if you open it with Adobe Flash Professional player.

Hi Yanko,

Thanks for sharing the images here - but it's difficult for me to read them. :)

Also, Firefox is not an supported HTML5 browser as detailed here. It may have Flash disabled though, but you can look at this tutorial for ways to adjust it.  Have you looked at testing this in Chrome on a PC or Safari on a Mac?
