Dynamic Watermark

Nov 11, 2016

Hello,

I'm need to create dynamic watermarks in storyline and I can't seen to find a solution.

Here is how it should work.

Loading the StudentID from the scorm package I would like to use and print the StudentID a repeated number of times over the screen with transparency without losing the ability to click on the buttons of storyline.

Without making this with layers, so I can still the layers for more content and interaction.

What I have been able to do already:

I'm able to recover information from LMS inside storyline and print it a number of repeated times on the screen using the Reference and Variables from storyline.

I have attached a picture of how it should look. Thank's in advance for any help anyone can provide.

If you can do this, you have everything you need. Print it in textboxes. Set the textbox to no fill and no outline, and the user can click on anything on the slide.

Hello everyone!

I have been able to achive what I wanted more or less. Not the ideal solution, but it works.

What I did:

I placed the text (the numbers I recovered from LMS) in the master slide being the last item.

Then after finishing creating my course I go screen by screen changing background and other needed itens transparency, this make the numbers show without breaking reading or the screen and let's me use other layers.

As you can see it is not the "magic" solution I wanted, but it works.

I'm learning javascrip and html now, when I know more I will revisit this issue and see if I can't find a better solution.

Thanks for answers!
