Easy method of applying revised shape/object settings to same object across all slides?

Jan 18, 2018

Hello Heroes!

Storyline 360 Windows 7 64 bit OS

Is there a quick/easy way to apply a change to an object and have it apply to all objects across multiple slides/scenes?

Example: I have a Hot Spot that is no fill with green border at 5px thickness (people see the Hot Spot upon Review). I have been asked to change the Hot Spot border to yellow. Do I have to change it manually on each Hot Spot slide by slide? Is there a way to say "Make all Hot Spots in this project yellow, no fill with 7px thickness.

Of course, this is not just limited to Hot Spots. Can I change all my Markers? All my red circles to blue?

Thanks!

Hi Katie

I certainly don't know of the magic command but you could use the format painter (double click the icon) to move between slides and change the outline from green to yellow...not ideal but it works. See quick Peek.

Just be careful with markers when you do the format painter if you marker is number 1 and you use format painter on a marker 5 it will change it to 1 so they might be a bit more painstaking to change.

Hopefully someone will chime in with something better for you.
