Edit CSS of preset quiz options

Aug 14, 2016

Hello,

I have just finished using the trial of Articulate Storyline and am impressed. One thing is of interest to me, though.

When we create content and publish it to our LMS, we will be looking to send scores from certain lessons to the LMS using xAPI. This is naturally more easily achieved through the use of the pre-set quiz options. Although sending scores from custom interactions through other means is possible, we would greatly appreciate the simplicity and ease of using the pre-set options.

The problem with using the pre-set quiz options, however, is that we would like for all of our content to reflect our branding.  An option for us would be to simply edit the CSS file of the published HTML5 content to change the quiz elements such as drag-and-drop or sequencing elements to a style that suits us. After the initial effort, it would then be possible to copy and paste the new CSS styles into each published content style sheet in the relevant areas prior to upload.

Has anybody previously achieved success editing the inner elements of the storyline player using CSS post-publication? If so, were there any limitations you encountered?
