I have recorded a screen recording, and can access the edit video option. I trim the video, then click save and close. The pop up appears indicating that the video is being edited, the progress bar gets to ~half way and then I get en error message that encoder.exe has stopped working. I can only close the program and my changes are not saved. I have tried several times, over several days, shut down my computer, opened the program several times and it still keeps happening. Please help!
Yes, I am working locally. I am editing a video inserted using the "record screen". I just want to cut off the end of it. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but am still having the same issue.

I can crop the video, and it saves. So, this only seems to happen when I try and trim the video.

Sorry you are having issues. Can I confirm you are working locally with this file? Also, have you tried a repair? This could clear up erratic issues, and also the steps here.
