Editing in simulations not transfering from one Mode to another

Hello, All - I am very happy that you can record a simulation in Storyline and re-purpose it by converting the original recording to another mode (View, Try, or Test), if necessary.

However, I was disappointed that if I edit the original recording (say adjust text in callout bubbles, make changes to a screen display, etc.) in the original recording, and then create a new mode/version of that recording (i.e., recorded originally in "View Mode", but added to the course again as a "Try Mode" of the same recording - that the editing made in the original simulation does not transfer to the version made for a new mode.

Question --> Is anyone aware of a workaround for this  situation (or am I possibly doing something wrong)?
