Editing States, text, in Master

Hi,

i want to create a menü within my slides. Therefore i've inserted textfields into my slide master. now i want to add a hover and a selected state (if the user hovers over the menü text, or selects it.

for my Problem, I'm just gonna go with the states "normal" and "selected".

first of all, i have trouble changing the text size in general, i can not change it to 12, it'll always go back to 12,5.:

second probmlem is, that the text size is much smaller in the selected state.

I can't figure out how this works.

In the end i want:

Normal state: text, color X, size 12

Hover state: same text, different color y, same size 12, same position as nomal

selected state: same text, same color as hover color y, same size 12, same position as nomal and hover
