Sorry if this question has been posted before. I am using the closed captions in Storyline 360, they appear as black boxes with white text. Is there any way of having a clear background so only the text is visible. I know how to manipulate the size/font and colour of the text in the player but cannot see anything relating to the background formatting. I have been asked to research other software and found Adobe Premiere Pro but I don't want to purchase something if Storyline 360 has the function or will do in the near future.

Great workaround Amey, and great work by Knut to figure this out, thanks for sharing this here.
Because this can be fired by a trigger on the course slide master it makes it pretty easy to implement.
