Hi, how can I delete the content of a field corresponding to a variable after you type it? Logically eliminating the content of the variable I do not get any results!
Are you looking for the user to do this or to have it happen? A trigger to reset or adjust the variable may be an option for it happen automatically. If the user has typed it in, but hasn't left the field you could just delete it while still in the text entry field.
I had already realized that it was not possible to delete the contents of a field. It was just a confirmation! The goal is not to have old data in the field of the previously entered. Having the ability to insert new data multiple times with the same field for the same variable.
It seems to me a normal requirement and easy to understand. I solved the problem by entering default data in the field!
Thanks for the example and my apologies for misunderstanding you. As Phil mentioned, you can't clear it without impacting the variable value. You'd have to use a new data entry field/variable or instruct the user to delete the text and rewrite it in - that resets your second section of "read".
Right - no way to clear out the data entry without also impacting the variable value. But you could type something different into the data entry field.

Hi Ashley,
perhaps you'd better see this my example!
TEST-DATA-ENTRY
Thanks
You cannot clear a data field and not affect the variable value.
Why do you need the data entry field clear?

OK,
but, actually, if resets the value of variable logically, does not change the contents of the data entry field!
