Enable content for off-line viewing

Sep 30, 2016

Hi. I just installed the articulate mobile player App. on my IPad. I need this App. to be able to show some videos. This is the link for the video : http://s3.amazonaws.com/tempshare-stage.storyline.articulate.com/sto_1atroafmn1lsaa4bac210m0n5a9/story.html

When I'm opening the link, a pop-up comes out asking me to download the articulate App. But it is already installed. So when I'm clinking on the "open" bottom, it opens de App. but there is no content. It shows me a black screen and "no content" in the middle. Appenrently, I should see a pop-up within the articulate mobile player asking me if I want to enable the content for off-line viewing.

Do you know how can I do to be able to see the content?

Thank you for your help.

Hi Carolyne,

Sorry you're seeing this! Apple made some changes to the way apps launch in iOS 9 and later. As a result, your Articulate Storyline 2 content may not launch in the Articulate Mobile Player (AMP) as you'd expect.

The launch page for your course will open in Safari, but then you'll be prompted to install AMP as shown below—even if it's already installed.

This issue was resolved in a recent update to Storyline 2. Take a peek at this article for further information on updating your software and your courses.

Let me know if you have questions! :)
