Entered text not showing up on print

I purchased the print widget that has been recommended in some other discussions (https://elearningenhanced.com/products/storyline-print-slide-widget) and am using it on a few pages in two courses I am developing.
The problem is that the text the user has entered on an earlier slide, does not show up when printing. This is only the case for text, as shapes that are set to show up when a variable changes show just fine in the print out.
Attached is a screen shot.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mandy,
Thanks for reaching out here - since that widget is not one that we've created or offer I don't think there is much our staff could do to offer support around this. Have you reached out on that site where you purchased the widget?
Hi again and thanks for the response.
Yes, I have tried contacting them several times.. I get no response. I was hoping someone on here may have had a similar issue or at least understand what the problem is.
It is a shame that Articulate do not seem interested in making the 'print page' a built in function. Requested it on several occasions as I often work with clients who demand this feature. It is a constant issue.
Hi Mandy,
You can print the results page as a part of Storyline, and a lot of users implement a simple Javascript trigger to allow for the printing of the page or screen. It's not something our team is equipped to support, but you can begin by reviewing the best practices outlined here for Javascript.
Yes, I've used JavaScript and any other workaround I can find. There are always issues though. So frustrating that it can't just be built in... Especially as you can print results. So surely much of the development has already been done.
I guess I just have to wait and hope that Articulate realize the value of adding this function. Development seems so slow.
Hi Mandy,
The print results page generates a new html page based on the users answers to the questions and the results slide so it's a different set up than printing the slide in it's entirety as seen on the screen.
If you're running into issues with the Javascript, you may want to share the specifics here so that folks in the community could offer some additional thoughts or feedback on the challenge you've encountered.
