Erratic button function

Hi all, I wanted to see if anyone has been encountering any glitches when navigating through Storyline outputs, specifically on IE. I have re-published, re-created slides and even whole modules trying to eliminate the error but it still happens. Lately more often than not

Every once in a while, not all the time, a button may not be clickable, be it custom inserts or the player's NEXT and PREV buttons. Instead of a hand cursor on hover I get a text entry cursor. It may even catch a corner and turn into a hand cursor even though there is no shape or box of any kind interfering above it. Very weird. It happens when I am working from home on my laptop more often than not and on occasion to me and other co-workers in the office. Any thoughts? Anyone encountering any similar issues?
