Error Message when Importing Translation file.

Hello Storyline Masters!

I'm reaching out because, when I try to Import from a Word file, I received an error message as shown in the picture and was wondering if you could provide me with more information about why this is happening. Is there something I can do to fix it or prevent it from happening again?

PS. Different from the "Completed with Exceptions" message, this below prevents any line to import well into the Storyline file.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue while trying to import content from a Word file but I'm happy to help troubleshoot.

  • First, please ensure that you're creating, editing, and publishing your Articulate project from your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working from a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior.
  • You can also try restarting your computer if you haven't done so.

If the issue continues, I'd be happy to take a look at your files for further testing. You can upload those here or share them privately in a support case. We'll delete them from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
