When I preview a single slide on my storyline 2 project, I get this error message.
I know this is because my slides are triggered to go to a specific slide when the timeline ends. This annoys me because I'm accustomed to previewing a single slide often as I design.
I wanted to know if there was a way that I could turn this message off and still use the "preview single slide" feature.
Are you seeing that error message at the start of preview and then not able to see anything on the slide at all, or you're seeing it when trying to access one of the links? The latter would be expected, and there is no way to turn off that feature other than to remove the links or items that are directing off that one slide.
I see it at the end of the slide. I know there is a trigger on that slide to go to another slide when the timeline ends. I know this happens because I'm previewing only a single slide. I just don't want to see it every time I review each slide.
Unfortunately there won't be a way around that, and the alternative - where someone previews one slide (maybe forgets their previewing one slide, or that the links won't work on that slide) and then can't access links may end up causing more confusion for developers working in Storyline.
The sound that it makes when that popup comes up is the same sound that my Storyline1 would make when it would freeze on me every day. I'm programmed to panic when I hear it now. haha.

Ashley,
I see it at the end of the slide. I know there is a trigger on that slide to go to another slide when the timeline ends. I know this happens because I'm previewing only a single slide. I just don't want to see it every time I review each slide.

That's unfortunate.
