Error report when publishing or previewing

Nov 08, 2017

I'm brand new to Storyline 360 and the first thing I did after downloading it was create a test course with two slides with text on each slide. I did this because I wanted to test Articulate Review. When I published the course, I got the attached error report pop-up. I've reviewed similar discussions on this topic and they were caused by corrupted images or an error in that version of Storyline. Since I just downloaded it, I can't download it again because I'd get the same version. Is there something else I can do to fix the publishing problem? Here's the version I downloaded: V3.9.13567.0

Oh no, Don! So sorry you ran into this-- let's get it sorted out so you can continue with your trial. I definitely don't want you to miss out on all the fun!

To help track down the cause here, I have a couple questions to start:

  1. Where is your file saved? Is it right on your C:Drive/Desktop, or is it saved to a network/shared drive?
  2. If you open up a brand new file and try to publish it to Articulate Review, does the same thing happen?

Let me know and we'll go from there!
