Evaluating Multiple Responses

I am trying to create an interaction where the viewer needs to input two answers (e.g. a lower and an upper bound). Is there any way to do this? I was hoping to get one response as a text entry and have that reveal another layer where the second response could be put in.  I've started with a numeric entry question type and I'm trying to modify that to get what I've described above. Any ideas?
