I have a project with 127 slides, ~134KB. Yesterday when I used Preview within Storyline everything was fine. Today, I am getting the exclamation point error screen on the last slide of a scene. I get it after the last text box appears onscreen, before I have pressed the object that should transition me to the next scene.
I assume this is NOT a Flash error given that I'm in SL itself and not on the LMS.
Thanks April - i see that John Say has been assigned to your case ( #00348345 for my reference) and he's sent along some initial solutions. I'll follow along to so I can update the thread!
Just following up on your case, I see that John asked to ensure you were working locally and that you have the newest version of Articulate Storyline (version 3) installed.
This week I have just had exactly the same problem on one particular slide. However when I publish, it works fine. I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like. I'm very interested in reading about the cause or better yet the solution!
The solution in April's case was that she wasn't working locally on her file, so some things were displaying incorrectly, and we also needed to confirm she was running update 3 of Storyline. If you'd like our Support team to check your file as well, you can share it here.
I haven't experienced this issue recently. I'm pretty sure I was working locally and did have the most recent version installed, but if it happens again I will definitely supply all the details.
Thanks for following up - you can feel free to close this ticket.
Thanks April for the update. If you ever need additional help, you can reply to the email from John (support@articulate.com) and it'll be connected to your original case.

Hi April and welcome to Heroes!
Are you able to share your .STORY file here or send it to us by submitting a Support case so that we can see if we can recreate it?
The file is huge - won't pass the queue in your ticket page. Can I email it another way?
Hi April,
Can you upload it to something like Dropbox, Filedropper.com, etc. and then share the link from there?

Thanks Ashley, I've submitted the affected slide.
Thanks William - I see your case (#00356691 for my reference) and will follow along.
John has indicated that it's an issue with Preview only, and that it should be resolved by installing Update 3.
Thanks for your help!
Thanks William for the update and glad John was able to get you all set!
