Is it possible, or has anyone had any luck with, excluding slides from the Scene.Progress variable? I am using the variable in scene two of a project, but within that scene I lightbox to some other slides in scene one. When this happens, it throws the progress % off. I just want the scene.progress to account for slides specifically in scene two. I hope that makes sense! And, thanks for the guidance! -Amy
I found this post and I would like to do the same as Amy: Excluding slides from Scene.Progress variable. The solution of Steve doesn't work for me. I suppose, because I'm using Storyline 3.
Is there also a possibility in Storyline 3 to exclude slides from Scene.Progress variable, e.g. by using triggers or javascript?
scene.progress is exclusive to SL360 however if it has been used in a file that is opened in SL3 it will be present but you cannot use the features from 360 to exclude slides

Hi Amy,
On the Insert tab, pull down the Slide Number option in the Text area of the menu ribbon. There you will find the "Exclude Slides" option.
Hi Steve,
Thank you so much! I was hoping there was an easy fix and there was. I appreciate your speedy answer.
