I have been exporting the closed caption files. Yesterday they all saved fine and I was able to open them in notepad to view the text. All of a sudden they are now automatically being saved as a media file. When saving the,=m, they still say they are a .vtt file, but when I go to view it, it is a video/audio file and not text. Any ideas what is happening?
I'm happy to help! Are you exporting the captions from the Media Library? There are two export buttons in the Media Library; one for the audio and one for the captions.
Would you mind taking a look at this Peek and letting me know if you see a different outcome?
If you'd like me to take a look at your project, you can attach it to this discussion or use this secure upload link to share it privately.
This is a great alternative to pulling the vtt files from the slides.
Is there a way to pull all the vtt files from the project or scene at once? [they don't need to be all one file, but maybe pull all the files at once?]
Alternately, Is there a trick to getting them out of the zip file after publish?

Hi, Jeff.
While we don't provide support for modifying published output in this manner, take a look at the following workaround by a fellow community member:
This is great. I know it might take a bit to connect the oddly named file to each audio clip, but yes, this covers what I need.
Thanks so much!
