Exporting Interactive Video
Sep 06, 2016
Hi. We're currently developing eLearning lessons using a rather unique combination of Infopath and Dreamweaver. I'd like to use Storyline to develop interactive videos that can be incorporated into our lessons. If I create an interactive video in Storyline, can I export it to a format that can be supported in a program like Dreamweaver? I'm just not sure if the interactivity will still function the same way. Any advice you can give would be a huge help. Thanks!

Hi Gabrielle,
I'm not entirely clear on the Dreamweaver set up - but if you wanted to keep the interactivity you'd likely need to embed a copy of your Storyline course into Dreamweaver as a web object. Just having it as a video (which Storyline does not publish to a single video format) wouldn't allow for the interactive elements as you mentioned.
This is helpful, thank you. Do you know the possible format(s) (file extensions) of the web object?
Hi Gabrielle!
If you publish to the web, you would be looking for a story.html file to embed.
Thanks!
No problem Gabrielle. Glad to assist. Good luck with your project.
