Exporting Text Entry Variables

Hello to anyone who may be able to help me,

I'm currently working on a couple of courses that require text entry variables from Q&A sections to be saved. I can reference these, and display them inside the same story.

However, I would like to export these for purposes exterior to the course. Is there a built in way to access these variables and send them off to a server? I guess this is similar to submitting interactions?

If not, I'm afraid the only solution I can think of is a web object hack where the input goes straight into an html <form> element (side stepping storyline).

Any help is greatly appreciated.
