Extend and Retract Action on a Slide

Mar 18, 2021

Hey Community...  I am working on a Storyline 360 project where I need to mimic a web page action.  This is a single slide that has a few "windows" of content (represented by title bars) that open (extend down) when you click the title bar or down arrow, and close (retract back up) when either the title bar or arrow is clicked again.  The only thing I can think of is to create a layer that shows or hides, but that doesn't mimic a page action of pushing down to show the content, and therefore pushing the rest of the slide down with it (or pulling the slide back up on the reverse action.  Does anyone have any ideas?

Hey Community...  I watched the /DavidAnderson webinar on animated accordion interaction (thanks Judy) and it is so close to what I want to do.  I wish I was in that webinar to ask David directly if this accordion action is possible in a scroll window because it needs to push below the visual area on the slide.  All the samples he showed stayed within the visual confines of the slide.  I think I'll try to use his techniques and see what happens.
