is there a feature where I can easily extend the timeline for all slides/ all slides in a scene? My problem is this: If I run a scene, all the elements are rushing through although I haven't set triggers for it. I've imported the slides from powerpoint - maybe some this is some reference point?
The default timeline length is 5 seconds, though that can be affected when importing from PowerPoint.
Are the slides advancing on their own (that is, without having to click the Next button)? That's a common issue for slides imported from PowerPoint. Fortunately, there's a quick fix:
In STORY VIEW, select all of the slides.
In the Slide Properties panel (lower right), change the "Slide advances" dropdown to "By user."
Otherwise, you'll have to adjust the timeline as needed on each slide.
I got thrown into Storyline without much training. This helped me immensely to be able to quickly set my story up and apply user advance to all slides.

Thank you very much! It works now :)
