Extended story lines indicating navigation

Feb 24, 2017

OK, likely this has been asked dozens of times, but not sure what keywords would bring this up because I really need a picture to articulate what the story lines are doing. My question is, why is it doing this? All of the slides in these scenes have identical navigation/triggers. Why is it suddenly deciding to pushing all of the slides far, far, to the right and making a line a million miles longer? And it will do that regardless of which slide is first in the sequence... so nothing slide specific.

So, a screenshot is my only shot of explaining this one. Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Edit: Coming back to upload a stripped down version to illustrate the problem.

Hi there Timothy,

I actually don't see that this was brought up anywhere else in the forums, so that could be why you didn't find any information about it. :)

I had to enlist the team's help on this one since I haven't seen this before, and It looks like the long lines you're seeing there are related to the "Restart course" trigger on the quiz slides in scene 3. If you remove that trigger, you'll notice the slides move back into alignment. Interesting thing is, this only happens when the "Restart course" trigger is added to quizzing slides. It doesn't happen on basic layout slides.

Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention, and I’ve logged this problem as a possible software bug.  Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed very quickly, while other bugs take longer to resolve. I’ll let you know as soon as we have an update. You'll be notified as soon as we hear anything since you're subscribed to this thread.
