... is it feasible to write a server-side script that would listen to javascript coming from Storyline and execute something like this: a 10 x 10 grid of greyed out stars, e.g., (maybe 5 x 5) and when a Storyline quiz is passed, one star turns gold?
Thank you!

Check out the tincan API! We were able to setup a tincan endpoint that records all the interactions and quiz results. It can detect when a user passes a course, and from that you can programmatically create the stars or whatever in a normal web app. Im using a LAMP stack.
