Feedback box disappearing quickly

Nov 09, 2015

Hi there, I am completely new to Storyline (not even self-taught) and am a bit stuck. I am working with a file that belonged to someone else previously.  The feedback box only appears for a brief moment after the user answers a question and clicks the submit button.  Any ideas? Using Storyline 2.

Hi Wesley

looks like there is an animation attached to the feedback box on the layer.

This tutorial may help you...

If you want to upload the .story file someone can take a look and help you - just click the add attachment button below.

It doesn't look to me that there are any animations setup.  I have attached my file here, thanks for the help.  My concern is perhaps the file was corrupted?  The previous developer who created it, loaded the course onto our LMS and it works.  I have since made changes to the file (nothing to make it behave this way to the best of my knowledge) and now the issue appears.  I have been playing around with slide 1.25 "test" although it seems all of the quiz slides behave this way.

Hi Wesley,

Thanks for sharing your file here. I took a look at your feedback master and I do see that there is an animation applied to the first set of feedback masters you have. You will either wan to remove the animation or apply a different set of feedback masters to your slides. You can read more about using feedback masters here.

Hi Wesley

sorry I missed your post I have been travelling - here are some screenshots on how to remove the transition from the feedback master.

Go to view > Feedback Master

Highlight the first master layout and click the Transitions tab - you will see that is has an Uncover transition - set this to None and it will flow through to the sub layouts below.
