1. As far as I know there's no way to edit the results slide failure and success layer via the feedback master, unfortunately. Perhaps it would make a good feature request: Submit a Feature Request.
2. Under the Slide Master one of the Layouts is the "Question Layout" (if you hover over the slides in the left-hand column, you'll see the title) and whatever edits you make to that particular slide will be applied to all the new quiz slides you add including Multiple Response and Multiple Choice slides.
