File Corrupted

Hi Everyone, 

Please if you could help me. I was working on the Storyline File and windows update prompt came up and the system automatically updated windows.

When i tried to open the file again, it says "This project is invalid or corrupt and cannot be opened. It may have been created in an earlier version of Storyline"

I have tried importing in to a new slide but no success. It is very difficult to find apt icons for my projects and if someone can help me with this issue.

I have attached the file for your reference as well.

So sorry you see that error when trying to open your project. We can help! In fact, I see you were already knee-deep in troubleshooting with one of our Support rockstars, Vevette. While it's tough to nail down why files become invalid or corrupt, these best practices should help prevent such issues in the future.

If you hit this roadblock again, please let us know, as we never want you to troubleshoot alone!

I have run into the same problem.  None of the .story files, training templates or scenes I have created will open.  I get the following error.

"This project is invalid or corrupt and cannot be opened.  It may have been created in an earlier version of Storyline.

I have a large library of files I have created as training for my company.  I was able to open a new project and import the slides from a file but it will not be practical to do this for the entire library.

I save the files to OneDrive as that is what my company uses for cloud storage and sharing.  Have you discovered what causes this issue and implemented a fix for it?
