File in Earlier Version of Storyline: Conversion Help Required Jan 13, 2014 By Yenn Sheldon Would someone be able to troubleshoot a file that won't open? It was created in a previous version of Storyline.
Simon Perkins over 10 years ago01/13/14 at 12:05 pm (UTC) Hi Yenn Feel free to upload it here. Else you may like to contact Articulate Support? Which version was the course built/saved in? Which version are you using now? What actually happens when you try opening?

First you'll want to check the following which could have caused file corruption: Work on your local drive (your C: drive).Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate). Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names. I'd also try opening a new Storyline project and import this older one into the blank project.
