I still consider myself quite new to SL2 so hopefully there is simple answer to my question.
I've created a fill-in-the-blank question and set it to 'reset to initial state', however if you return to the page the previous answer is still visible and the original text saying 'click here to type your answer' does not show (because it now has an answer in the box).
The question is set with only 1 try, no variables or anything complicated. This is simply a question within the learning not in a test and does not need to score.
The fill in the blank (and a few other question types such as drag and drop) don't reset on a revisit so that the user can see what they've previously answered before retrying it. There are a few methods out in the forums to force them to reset - and here's one to get you started.
Thank you. I followed the instructions in your link - set the trigger to act on the submit button as I wanted it to reset no matter what the answer so it was blank if the user went back through pages and this worked.
I just love this forum, it's been such a great support as I learn SL2.

Hi Ashley,
