Flash version and HTML5 behaving differently
Jun 13, 2013
Hi All,
I am working on a resource where users need to match famous personalities to the Australian Bank note each appears on. It is a drag and drop activity where everything works perfectly in the flash version. Unfortunately, there is an issue that is really bugging me in the HTML 5 version.
In the flash version, when dragging portrait heads to the correct bank note, the bank note changes state from 'normal' (where there is a blanked out section) to the custom state 'completed' (where the complete bank note is displayed). This change of state is triggered when the portrait head changes state from 'normal' to 'dropped correct', which is an empty image - ie, the head disappears. Have a go and you'll see what I mean. As I said, the flash version works perfectly - the bank note remains in the 'completed' state.
In the HTML5 version, everything works OK except that after one portrait head is correctly matched, the bank notes reverts to the 'normal' state as soon as the user clicks somewhere.
Does any one have any hints / tips to work around this issue?
