I received a PowerPoint file from a client for conversion into Storyline. The client flattened all of the slides into single layers so the graphics/text would not get jumbled and go askew. The course looks like it imported fine until I publish and then "poof" all content is gone. I believe the content is actually floating on top of the slide and not embedded in the Storyline file. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? If so were you able to resolve the issue? Thanks!

Yes, both files are saved on my local hard drive. I published to web and I would love to share the file but I can’t because it’s an internal document and I work for the government.
I completely understand, Tammy. Thanks for that additional context. Are you able to re-create this issue in a sample file that does not contain any sensitive information?
Alyssa, thank you for your offer to help. I decided this was a bit of a red-hot mess that a peer had sent me to resolve in a hurry. Since I did not have my have my hand in creating the layers I decided to pass. I will find out the solution at some point because I’m curious but it will take some time to unravel. I appreciate your follow-up. Let’s let it go for now.

Hello Tammy!
A few things to check before we look deeper: are both the PowerPoint file and the Storyline file saved to your local hard drive? Did you use this method to import the PowerPoint into Storyline? Did you publish to web or LMS, and if so, where is the content hosted?

I know this does not help much.
Thanks,
Tammy
