I have a slide with multiple layers. There are images on each layer that stay constant. However, when I move from one layer to the next, the images flicker (almost like a fade-in), which I is distracting and takes away from the effect.
Is there a way to minimze this flickering between layers?
Thanks for your help, everyone! I checked to make sure that there were no animations. I found that another issue was that items were not aligned to playhead. There was a tiny gap!

highlight each layer and check there isn't a 'transition' option selected by viewing the transitions tab.
