Here is what it looked like when I built it in storyline
Here is what it looks like when I preview it
Notice that the text color is dimmer, and its shifted down several pixels. The "LOGOUT" is in font Courier New with a 14.5 font size. The rest of the text is just an image.
Any ways I can fix this so that the finished result looks like what i'm trying to build?
I don't see it as noticeable as in your example - but in addition to viewing at 100% zoom as a good practice you'll want to confirm that your DPI setting is at 96 as described here.
Also, take a look at my attached version. I grouped the two items together and they look to be at the same pixel/height.

Hi Jackson,
Could you share the .story file (or even just that as a sample slide) so we could take a look at it? Are you using Storyline 1 or Storyline 2?
Sorry, I should have specified. Its storyline 2, and i'm viewing it at 100% in the program.
Here is the slide, thanks for helping!
I noticed that the textbox shifts down a few pixles if I zoom out in the program too... I dont know if that helps narrow down the problem somewhat?
From view at 66%
