When I changed the alignment of my text or change the font type it also changes the font to superscript. Even if I deselect superscript and make a change to font type or alignment it changes the font to superscript as well
The image you shared showed me that the shadow was on, but I'm unsure how that's connected to your superscript? Can you confirm you're working on local project files as detailed here? Additionally are you seeing this behavior on all your project files or just this particular one? You may want to look at conducting a repair of Storyline as well if you're seeing it across files.
If the shadow is appearing when modifying the text, I'd look into both of the elements I mentioned. Also are you pasting the text in from somewhere else such as powerpoint? There could be lingering format elements from there - so you could try pasting it in from Notepad or something else similar that doesn't have the formatting.
If you continue to see the shadow, could we take a look at one of your .story files?
I was just responding with the information about captions as Les mentioned - we've seen that issue before as well, and if you're seeing it appear automatically it has been associated with the copying/pasting of text or issues of corruption from not working locally.
This has not been the case before, I have done a repair and still the same issue. I am working locally. I am not copying and pasting. I created a new theme font and again same issue. It does not matter which font I am working with. When I make any changes to the font this happens. It seems to only happen with captions.

i have done the repair, still seeing the issue. No not copying the text from anywhere. Happens with all fonts
Could it be the default format when using captions. I created a rectangle 'shape', inserted text, and no shadow.

here is a video of what is happening
Thanks Doreen - it looks like we're talking about this in two threads now. So I just responded to you over there and if you'd like to share a file with us, please send along here.
