I am needing help with forcing users to enter certain text in the username and password fields. I created an "oops" layer that tells them to 'please type the correct username and password.' I tried typing the wrong text and I am not getting the "oops" layer to appear. My hotspot is the login button that users should click after entering the correct username and password. I included screenshots if anyone can please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Hi Wendy, thanks so much for your quick response. I changed the Oops trigger condition to OR but the Oops layer still doesn't appear after typing in the incorrect data. I do have another text entry field on another slide. Do you think the variable screen is confused? I have included a pic of the variable screen.
not sure why the hotspot isn't working. I initially changed the trigger order so that it was the first trigger but that still didn't work so I hid the hotspot on the timeline and created a transparent shape sitting on the login button and added the show layer trigger and that worked.
Wendy, I just figured out why the hotspot wasn't working. Totally my fault. I had 2 triggers for the hotspot - both triggers told it to go to the next slide; except the one trigger had the slide title and the other said next slide. The first trigger with no conditions was being recognized and not the second. I guess because it was listed first. I would never have known if you hadn't tried the transparent shape. Thanks again!

Can you upload the .story file Bonita - easier to help if we can see the exact setup.
Sure, see attached. Thanks.

Thanks Wendy! So strange that the hotspot wasn't being recognized.
