Hi Jack!

I really appreciate you adding the screenshot in your post! It always makes it easier to understand what you're noticing.

You're right, that does look odd! Have you noticed this in multiple courses, or is this one the culprit?

Also, would you mind sharing your file with us? You can do so by using the "add attachment" button in this discussion. Or you can share the file privately with our Support Engineers by using this link.

Sure, Heather.

I was able to take a look at Jack's support case and it was a very specific scenario that our team is currently investigating:

Format Shape tool is not using custom theme color settings when the slide is not using a slide master template.

The current workaround is to:

  • Use a Slide Master template so that the Format Shape tool will use the theme color for that Slide Master.

Does that sound like what you are experiencing as well? If not and you'd like our team to take a look, then with your permission, please share your project file with our support engineers privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.

Hello Everyone!

I'm happy to return to this discussion with an update—we've fixed the issue where the:

  • Format Shape tool is not using custom theme color settings when the slide is not using a slide master template.

Be sure to install the latest Storyline 360 update (Build 3.50.24668.0) to take advantage of all the recent features and fixes.

If this happens again, please let us know! Or you can work directly with our support engineers here.
