Formatting Question

Good Day All,

I am working on a PowerPoint (2016) presentation that will be imported into Articulate Storyline.  The template being used for the presentation is one of our company's templates, so it will have all the appropriate logos and markings on it.  The title pages are split in half, with one half being a solid color where the title information goes, the other half is a picture, and there is a white border around the entire slide.  I have attached an example below entitled "Original .PPT Slide." One I import the PowerPoint presentation into Articulate Storyline, the white border does not go around the entire edge of the slide, you will see from the attachment  below entitled "PPT Slide in Articulate Storyline" that the border is missing from the top and bottom of the slide, where the color is.  I have been using Articulate Storyline 360 off and on for a year now, so I am not familiar yet with all of the bells and whistles.  In this situation, I have played around with the Story Size Setup, yet still can't achieve the results I am looking for, which is the white border around the entire slide.  Has anyone experienced this before?  If so, what did you do to resolve it?  Thanks in advance for your help and time in this matter.

It's hard to tell what's happening without seeing the original files. Based on the images, my best guess is that Storyline just expanded the height of the Title text box to match the height of the slide, so it now covers the white border. (Importing PPTs can be quirky...)

If that's the case, you should be able to go into the Master Layout and adjust the size of the text box so it fits within the white border (instead of covering it). You may have to re-apply the layout to the slides that use it.

Good luck!
