Free Form Pick Many not Submitting

Hi there
I don't know if my problem has to with the most recent update, but I can no longer make Freeform Pick Many interactions submit.
I couldn't get it to work in the file I was currently working on so I made a brand new test file with:
1. a standard Pick Many with the following settings:
- Feedback: by question, User must answer, Score: none.
- If the user does not check anything, and clicks submit, the invalid response layer shows. Once they make a selection, the Thank You layer shows with the continue button.
2. The Freeform Pick Many with the same settings
- will appropriately show the invalid response layer, but after making a selection and clicking submit, nothing happens.
- If I go to next to the results page and look at the report, there is no evidence of the question.
Maybe I am mis-remembering and the Freeform pick many could never do this. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I would appreciate it!

You didn't set a score for slide 1.2.
Hi Mary!
Looks like Michael has popped in to assist you here. Just let us know if you need anything further.
Hi Michael and Leslie
Thanks for responding.
I didn't set a score. It's set to none which is why the Thank You slide layer is automatically generated rather than the correct/incorrect slide layers. My understanding is that the thank you layer should show after submitting the interaction and the choices that were made get sent to the results slide (the same way a survey question is).
The standard pick many, submits results when it is set to score:none, so with the same settings available and chosen in the freeform pick many, you'd expect the same behaviour. It's been a while but I'm sure I've done it before.

Hi Mary-Lynne,
When you mention going to the results page to look at the report, are you referring to how the results are displayed on the screen or the report that you're generating using a printing method or from within your LMS?
Hi there
I'm looking at the report.html page. I don't currently have it on an LMS, but I would assume if it's not giving me the thank you slide (when I click on Submit nothing happens), and there is nothing on the report.html page that it would also not be submitting anything to the LMS.
Here is a link to the test online: pickManytest and I've attached the .story file that it was published from. The settings are the same for standard pickmany and the freeform pickmany but one submits and the other doesn't. I've checked and rechecked to see if I've neglected to tick a checkbox off somewhere, but I can't find anything.
Please let me know if you see something that I've overlooked.

Hi Mary Lynne,
Thanks for sharing the file and a link to the output. I do see the same behavior and I was able to replicate it in a new file. It seems to only impact the freeform pick many, and I found a workaround that may assist you, before changing the question Score to None, set one of the answers as correct. Then change the score to None. This will allow the user to answer the question and get the Thank you layer, but not score the question.
I've shared this issue with our QA team for additional review, but I cannot offer a time frame in regards to this particular issue so please continue to use the workaround mentioned. I'll include this thread in the report filed with our team so that once there is additional information to share I can update you here.
Hi Ashley
Thanks for checking that out for me and finding a solution. The module was due to my clients today so I can now make them happy!
Thanks a bunch!

Glad I could assist Mary-Lynne. Please let us know if you need anything else.
I know this thread is old, but I just experienced the same issue with an ungraded freeform Pick Many exercise. Just tried Ashley's workaround, which fixed the issue.
Never to late to tell me something I shared worked! Thanks Robert. :)
