What I would like to know if it is possible in Storyline 360 to create questions where the learner is required to type their own answers? if so how is this done?
e.g. List the four safety precautions when using a Pipette aid in a lab
I do understand this can be achieved within an LMS.

For this kind of question, I'd recommend using multiple text entry fields on a Freeform Pick One quiz slide.
This tutorial by Wendy Farmer explains how you can set up that kind of interaction!
