Freeform Pick One with Individual Feedback

Sep 16, 2014

I have scenarios at the end of my course; I want the learner to receive individual feedback for each answer they pick.

How do I create this using the freeform option - pick one?

Attached is my file; I want to have to learner click an answer and have its own feedback box pop-up until they choose the correct answer.

Thank you!

Hello Katie,

I looked at your file, and if you want the individual layers of text to show up when a user clicks on the answers, you will need to add a trigger to them to show the layer.

Also, if you want them to go back to the first layer to answer again, you will need something on that text layer to trigger the layer to "hide"

Maybe a close button or something along those lines. I have added the triggers, and a close trigger.

You could also play with conditions if you wanted them to click  all answers before moving on to the next slide.

Let me know if this is what you were looking for, if not, hopefully some others in the community may have some more ideas!

Hello Katie,

I think i see what you need. When you go into the Edit Pick one, you will need to add the individual feedback that you want to have for each question. Correct, Incorrect, and Try again:

Then you will need to assign these layers to show when a user selects the items.

I made an adjustment to the file to show. I wasn't sure how you wanted to pop up the answer text, right now it is set to show on hover, and the feedback shows on click, but see if this helps!
