Right-Click Auto-Submit Interactions?

Jun 09, 2020

Hello,

I'm designing a card game quiz where a learner takes a closer look at one of their cards with a left-click, then returns the card to their hand with a right-click (if they don't want to play the card), then double-clicks the card they want to play.  I have motion paths set up for each left-click and right-click interaction, and I've converted the slide to freeform so that double-clicking the "correct" card will submit a Pick One interaction.  The problem I'm finding is that when I right-click the correct answer card to return it to my hand, the Pick One interaction is submitted without double-clicking.

Does right-clicking on an object automatically submit that interaction in a Pick One freeform?  If so, is there a way to turn that off?

Thanks!

Hi Jason,

Thanks for reaching out! I just tried a quick example in Storyline 360 Update 40 and was able to left-click, right-click, then double-click and noticed no odd behavior. The interaction was submitted when I double-clicked.

  • What version of Storyline are you using?
  • Do you have the trigger to submit interaction when the user double-clicks?
