Are you looking to make the slide go full screen (i.e. toggle off the menu or something similar)? There is no button within the Storyline player that would do that, but you could add the elements such as menu, resources, glossary to the top bar (left or right) and they'll work as drop downs. This way you'd get a bit more slide real estate.
A lot of the posts on this topic are old so I thought I would ask if there has been an update on this. Is it now possible (without custom programming) to click a button to change to full-screen mode? Our LMS does not allow full-screen unless the development tools provides a button for this.
I appreciate you explaining how a full-screen toggle button would help you out.
We're still looking into this feature. For more context, we evaluate feature ideas alongside their queue of bug fixes, new features already on the roadmap, and other projects.
That's all the news we have right now, but we'll notify you the second there's more to share!
I have some great news to share. We just released a really cool feature that allows you to add a player toggle to let learners view courses in full-screen mode.
To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find step-by-step instructions here.
Do you know if the full-screen feature will work with an SL embedded in
RISE? That is our main application. I've just started looking at it, but
this doesn't seem to be working at this point. The full-screen icon does
appear, but it does not work.

You could create a hot spot that covers the whole screen, if that's what you mean.

Understood. Thank you, Katie. Onward!

Unfortunately, this feature does not cross over to Storyline embedded content within Rise at this time. I truly understand your disappointment, Keith.
I will be sure to share any Rise news and updates to this forum thread in the future!
you can not add
allow="fullscreen"
to the iframe Storyline integration in Rise?https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/iframe
really?

Understood, Luciana. Thanks. Hoping for an option for this in the future!
NOTE: We will need to be careful to not include the fullscreen option in embedded SL files as that could be frustrating for RISE course learners.
