when I import a power point the words "click to add text' are under the words of the slide--making it hard to clean up the slides. this is in story view.
Those are placeholders from either the Slide Master in PowerPoint, or the Slide Master in Storyline. So, if you import from PowerPoint, the Slide Master placeholders are imported onto whatever layout you have in Storyline, which may also have placeholders.
The solution is to choose a screen layout in Storyline. On the HOME tab in Storyline, open Apply Layout (near the left side of the ribbon) and choose the blank layout and see if that corrects the problem for you.
