Glossary, numbered instead of alphabetized

Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering if there is a way to number the items in the glossary rather than alphabetize.  Long story as to why, but essentially, I just want to number them.  The problem is that they stay in order, 1 - 9, but when I put in 10, 11, or 12 etc.,   the order becomes: 

1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3, etc.  

Is there a way around this?
