When I import a logo into the player, Storyline adds a thin gray border around it. In this case, I think it would look much better without the border. Is there a way to disable it or make it transparent, in the Player Properties or elsewhere?
See the example below. The thin gray border outlines the imported image.
We are using Storyline 360, I have attached one slide with two images that have the border effect on them, both images in Photoshop have 100% white backgrounds.
I published a copy of your course to Articulate Review here. I'm not seeing the grey line around the images, although I did notice the image on the right is slightly inward from the slide/player edge? Is that what you're seeing?
Can you take a look at my example and let me know where I'm going wrong or if I'm missing something.
I wish we could control the width of the player border. I am forced to use the Storyline 3 player menu, but with the additional thick border around the player it makes my project slightly too large. If we could control the width of this border that would be great.
Thanks for pointing those out - I'll admit they were still hard for me to spot with the arrows.
I know our team is investigating an issue where the Zoom picture causes the border around an image, but I didn't see that enabled on either of your images. Can you share one of the original image files? That would help me to test a bit more in Storyline.

Hi Shawn,
If you have a sample .story file you can share with us demonstrating the issue you are seeing, that would be helpful.
Also, what version of Storyline are you currently using?

Hi Stephanie,
There are a few items that are going to add to your overall player size and width, take a look at the details here.
Hi Ashley,
I have opened a support case number 01419867, and attached one of the images to that ticket.
Thanks, Shawn, and I see that you've been working with Renato on this case, so I'll continue to keep an eye on it.
How do you make a transparent border? Only thing missing from this post
Hi Matthew,
Great question!
You can change the border of the Classic Player using the Player Properties advanced color option:
Please let us know if you have any questions about this!
Hi all!
I am happy to report that we are not seeing this behavior in Storyline 360 (Build 3.49.24347.0):
If you're still running into this snag, make sure you're using the latest version of Storyline 360.
Don't hesitate to reach out to us in this discussion or in a support case if you have additional questions!
