Having issues with Serenity template

It's a challenge to resize the slide when you have a lot of content that may not look right when you change the aspect ratio. Things will shift around and get skewed. It's just the nature of stretching or squeezing the objects.

An easier solution is to create a file at 16:9 to start and insert the template since they're offered at 4:3 or 16:9 options.

That's not really the issue, as I've already resized everything. The issue
is that the states and icons are not acting correctly. I was not aware all
the templates came in both sizes.

Tom, I've taken your advice and opened the Serenity template in a widescreen project and tried to revise the icons in the TABS INTERACTION LAYOUT.  I'm still having the same issue!  Please look at the file I'm sending and see if you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.  

The attachment includes three slides:

1. The original one I resized 
2. The widescreen version of the template where I changed colors and pictures, states, etc.
3. The original version of the template layout

The issue I'm having with BOTH my versions is when I replace the icons in the item group (the icon in the middle of the oval), it shows up in the middle of both the hover and selected states, but that doesn't happen in the original version.  I've tried removing the icon from the item group and placing it on the oval states, but that doesn't solve the issue.  I've looked at all the settings I can think of but don't see any differences between my versions and the original one, so I must be missing something. 

I'm at my wits end, please help me!

Look at the original and compare to yours. You can ungroup the tabs to make it easier to work with.

The icon has a hover state. It looks like the created the hover state and then moved the icon over.

Hi Tom,

I'm running into something similar - I think.  I'm not sure how to ungroup the tabs. 

By default the background color is gray on the serenity process template and I'm trying to change that and cannot see a way to do that. I've attached an image to show the gray I am trying to change. If I ungroup the tabs will that allow me to edit the background color?

The template is using colors from the theme colors. That color looks like it's text background color 2.

Looks like there's some weird issue with the shape not changing colors. I'll have someone from support look at it.
