I have been using Storyline for a while now and can't seem to figure out what's going wrong today. I customized my player so that it doesn't have any sidebars and created a new menu across the top of the screen. When I preview it, everything looks fine. However, when I publish, I am consistently getting a sidebar. I can move it from the left side to the right side under the "features" heading, but I can't get rid of it. There is nothing checked under "Sidebar". Can you tell me what I'm missing?
A screenshot would help confirm what you're seeing, but if you've also included a logo it will look like there is still space for the sidebar below that, and unfortunately there isn't any way around that behavior. If you're actually seeing the menu still on the right or left, we'd want to take a look at your Storyline file and it's worth confirming that you're working with local project files as described here as working on a network or USB drive could cause unusual or erratic behavior.
Thanks for the tip, Ashley! I was working off a USB, so I think maybe that was the issue. Now that I've copied it onto my local drive, I republished and it's working just fine!
