Help! Hide next button until all layers are visited.

Mar 09, 2020

Hello! I am having some issues with triggering the Next button to appear on one my slides. My goal is to have the user visit each tab on the slide before the Next button appears and they are able to move forward. I have been able to hide the Next button, but am having trouble making it appear again once the tabs have been visited. Any insight on how to fix this?

There is a sample on this post that will help you.  https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/free-sample-restricted-and-free-random-navigation-using-variables-and-triggers

You want the restricted navigation option.

I suspect your problem is that you are trying to use some form of "Buttons are visited" in the WHEN portion of your trigger. It seems like a good idea, but only works if the last state changes at the moment the trigger is checking. It works much better in the to put the "Buttons are visited" in the IF portion of the trigger.
